Description
The National Library is a symbol of Belarus, located on the central Independence Avenue next to the park zone of the Slepyan water-green system. Today the library is more than a rich collection of books. It is a multipurpose center that combines high technologies, ultramodern design and unusual architecture. In the building of the National Library is the Center for International Meetings and Negotiations (Oval and Round Halls, International Press Center, Conference Hall, an office of the Belarus President). The center is filled with multifunctional modern equipment, which gives an opportunity to organize the largest political, cultural, scientific, business and educational events.
