Description

Today, the House Museum of First Congress of the Russian Social Democratic Labour Party is the oldest operating museum in Minsk and Belarus: its history dates back to 1923. For almost half a century the museum was the most visited museum of the Belarusian capital. In addition to numerous excursion groups, his guests were Petr Masherov (Belarusian party and state figure), Fidel Castro (Cuban revolutionary, state, political and party figure), Josip Broz Tito (Yugoslavian revolutionary and politician) and many others, Yanka Kupala and Zmitrok Byadulya (Belarusian writer and poet). The House Museum is the only example of the wooden architecture of the late 19th century in the city center. The museum provides a unique opportunity to hold business meetings, round tables, seminars, trainings, negotiations in the exhibition halls.
